Here are a sampling of events organized throughout the
year in Langkawi. Some are traditional events that have a long history
and some are newer events organised by the government to stimulate
tourism.
As such, bear in mind, some are hits and some are misses.... Of
course many events are geared towards the local population and as
such the language used will be Bahasa Melayu but don't let that
hold you back - GO! - you'll be surprised how warmly you are welcomed.
